The Gillett family re-interred from the family cemetery found on Triphammer Road in 1979 during the contruction of Interstate 390(pictured in background). The marker on left is believed to be that of Eunice (Palmer) Gillett, wife of Gershom Gillett Sr., a Revolutionary Wr soldier from Connecticut. All that is legible is the letter 'E' as the first name(Also possibly that of Gershom's brother Eleazor). The middle marker is that of a young child, as learn from moving the remains, unknown who this could be, but certain to be a Gillett relation. The marker on the right reads:

       In Memory of

    Elisabeth Gillett

Consort of Gashum Gillet 2d

Died 15th of April 1817

aged 37 years.

Please contact Andrew Burdett if you have any futher information on this Gillett family. Andrew is a descendant of Gershom and Eunice Gillett's daughter Susannah, wife of Joel Bardwell.
